We’ve also answered some common questions you might have about Belle & Beau Confetti Co. and COVID-19.

By now, most consumers know about unanticipated postal delays resulting from Covid-19. To counter this, we highly recommend that clients set the date for their reveal after they receive the product. Setting the date for your reveal during such unprecedented times without actually having your product in hand may lead to dissapointment. Moreover, as provinces drop new measures on a dime, often without any notice, it is crucial for you to be respectful of any rules or regulations in place. Last but not least, as we're in the midst of another great Canadian winter, certain areas may experience delays due to intense wind, rain, or snow conditions. Please be patient as our essential postal workers bear these harsh conditions to deliver our mail.
Ontario Clients should expect delays due to the major COVID-19 outbreak at the Canada Post Missisauga Sorting Facility. While this may not affect all clients in Ontario, it will affect those regions that rely on the particular facility.
From April to December 2020, we've noticed a few trends with shipping. First, we found that packages being shipped to clients who live within the major urban centers (e.g., Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, etc.) and their close suburban districts are arriving within 3-6 business days with Xpresspost.
Overall, we found packages to BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan arriving in a timely manner. However, we've noticed that a small percentage of packages to smaller municipalities and rural areas across Canada were delayed by at least 2 business days.
To counter any unanticipated shipping delays, we suggest setting the date for your party once the product(s) arrive. While we understand that last-minute planning is quite common, our delivery partners are experiencing high volumes which may lead to delays. By setting the date for your gender reveal party after you receive your products you will alleviate the stress of waiting for the package to arrive. Further, you will not be scrambling to look for a replacement gender reveal product.
All shipping quotes featured on our website are estimates and are suceptible to weather delays, covid-19 related delays, and increased traffic delays.
Reserve and Local Pick Up
The quickest and most efficient way to get what you need at this time is to use our Local Pick Up services for residents in the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Please consider using these services as a way to get your items quickly while maintaining social distance. We've modified our Local Pick-Up location in Surrey, BC to a contactless pick-up solution. Electronic payment for all local pick-up is required in advance. This option can be found at the beginning of our online check-out.
Alternative to Envelope Disclosures
Until further notice, we're suspend the practice of filling orders at the time of pick-up using sealed gender disclosure envelopes. As an alternative, if you have a sealed envelope, we are happy to obtain the disclosure through Apple FaceTime or Google Duo. Moreover, if authorized, we can contact your ultrasound clinic or ultrasound tech for the fetal sex as well.
We know you’re relying on us to get the confetti and powder cannons that you need. You can still order from our site and have items delivered to your home. Please be aware that, for the moment, our trusted delivery partners have suspended their on-time delivery guarantee and will continue to follow the protective guidelines set out by public health authorities to ensure the safety of both their personnel but also our valued customers. This means that all shipping estimates displayed on site are just that, estimates.
