Planning a Gender Reveal Party is all about timing! A skilled ultrasound technician can generally determine the gender of your baby at 18 to 20 weeks' gestation. In some cases, the baby may be sitting in a manner where it is impossible to determine the gender of the baby, ask your ultrasound centre about your options for a follow up.
If you are able to obtain the gender of the baby, ask the technician or the doctor to seal the information in an envelope and deliver that sealed document in person to us if you live in the Greater Vancouver Area. If not, kindly request your ultrasound expert to email us the gender including your name and order number if you have already purchased your gender reveal supplies.
Alternatively, you can reveal that very envelope to a friend or family member who can organize the party for the parents-to-be. This is probably the most popular option, although you should feel confident that your friend or family member will not accidentally spill the beans.
You've prepared your body through diet and exercise. Strengthened your mind through relaxation and meditation. You may want to tackle some last minute projects but we suggest you pace yourself. Find a big comfy chair, one you'll need help getting out of, put your hands on your belly, and save that energy for labor!
